Chocolate Banana Bread

Intro

Ingredients:

  • 1 big ripe banana
  • 1/8 cup melted coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup oat flour
  • 1/3 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • generous pinch of salt
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • a pinch of cinnamon powder (optional)

Method:

  • Pre-heat the oven at 180° C.
  • In a bowl, mash the banana, add all the wet ingredients and mix till well combined.
  • Add the dry ingredients and mix well.
  • Add the chocolate chips and nuts.
  • Pour the batter in a greased and lined mini loaf pan and bake in the oven for 30 minutes or till done.
  • Sprinkle cinnamon powder or chocolate chips on top (optional).
  • NOTE: Cool for an hour before slicing.
